Antique 19th century, Chinese Quing period bamboo opium chair

A 19th century, Chinese Quing period bamboo opium chair.

The back support and arm rests are decorated with woven bamboo circle and diamond shaped patterns.

The head rest on the top of the back section is crowned with three circles.

Under the arm rests and surrounding the woven rattan seat the sides are decorated with matching circles and diamond shaped decoration.

Under the chair seat there are two star shaped streatchers set with square shaped patterns in the middle.

The chair has its original panted patina finish which is in loverly original condition.

There are no repairs or restoration to the bamboo or the woven rattan.
