19th Century French Rocking Horse

A charming 19th century child's hand carved wooden rocking horse, featuring lovely distressed original hand painted finish and mounted on its original bow shaped base.

The rocking horse still has its original saddle, blanket, but has one stirrup missing and some of the bridle fittings are also missing.

The horse's tail and mane are there but cannot be confirmed as being original.

Made in France in the late 19th century.

There are no structure repairs to the horse and rockers.
